A client of mine is asking for a cake with condensed milk & caramel filling.  Any ideas out there, I am so lost:-o

Please help

ASweetened condensed milk can be made into caramel. Or you can use a can of dulce de leche, which saves the cooking step of the condensed milk. Other than that, I'm not sure.

Here is one from Alton Brown that is a tres leche cake which taste fantastic!!! I always add some piping gel (2 tablespoons)to whip cream frosting to stabilize it.  I have used many different recipes for this cake but Alton Brown's recipes are normally very good!!! You can also put the can of caramel deluce as the middle layer in between.! Many people put strawberries, pineapple, blackberries or blueberries on top. Hopefully, others here will have some of their favorite recipes too!!!
