I Need Help Creating A Tan Boy Scout Color

I am trying to do a cake shaped like a boy scout shirt, and I cant get the fondant color right. I thought using a little bit of brown would give me a good color but it has ended up looking flesh colored instead of tan. I REALLY need help to fix it, what should I do?
