Ok this really happened!!! I was asked to make a double layer 9x13 cake with, of all things, a garbage truck on it. Well I said ok, the cake was red velvet cake. It's looked great i thought. Well as I picked up the cake icon_eek.gif to hand it to the person the plate I had it on just broke into two pieces the cake went flying onto my friend and on the floor!!! icon_redface.gif I used a frozen bc transfer for the truck, and dont you know after all that the only thing left of the cake was that!!!!!!!!! thumbs_up.gif Thank goodness that I had a few hours before the party so I could redo a cake for her. Except no frozen transfer, I ended up using piping gel to trace another truck and do the cake that way!

witnesses! Good thing it was a friend and not a stranger and you'll have something to laugh about!

that's terrible! I did have a cake bend in the middle when i picked it up because i didn't have a thick enough cake board under it but it was salvagable!
