AHi everyone, I'm relatively new to cake decorating. I have a graduation cake to do for my daughter and I want to have one of the layers in royal blue. I've tried but I'm not getting a true royal blue. Any suggestions?

Hi Lizbethbeck, Lesley from The Royal Bakery has some tips on her facebook page about achieving a good Royal Blue.

Often the colour comes out more like a denim but she suggests "start with Wilton Royal Blue or Americolor Navy. If I want a true navy blue, I add a little black and some Americolor Regal Purple. For a blue like Grover from Sesame Street, Wilton Royal Blue will get the color going, and Regal Purple will finish it off". Here's the link: https://www.facebook.com/notes/royal-bakery/the-top-tip-tuesday-collection/422740014413971

Hope that helps :)
