So I'm wondering if anybody can give some advice. I bought a CK impression mat and I used it for the first time over the weekend. Then after that I hit it with the pearl sheen airbrush color. It came out ok and the bride really liked it...but I felt the impression got a bit washed out. Should I dry brush it with pearl dust instead?

I've never airbrushed things I have done with an impression mat. Even with a sheen, the texture still won't pop because it is too even of a spray.

I would definitely use luster dust - maybe just a super pearl to highlight the embossed pattern. Those pump brushes work great for this.

ARight....I have one of those brushes. I think I'll try that next time. I suspected the airbrush made it look flat. Thank!!!
