Okay--not sure if it was on this forum or not, but thanks to whoever suggested using the sheet of plastic that you buy at a fabric store to use with fondant. My biggest problem with fondant is rolling it over the rolling pin or picking up to put on cake.

Went to Hancock Fabrics yesterday and bought 1 yard of rolled clear plastic or poly-something. IT'S GREAT!!! Did not have to use oil or powdered sugar to keep from sticking and to transfer--just pick up sheet, flip it over onto cake. And easy to clean.

I use the vinyl for my fondant also. I love it!!! It makes a huge difference. I will not use fondant anymore without it.
