My client was a regular yellow cake but, would like an almond flavor.  Has anyone ever added almond flavoring to a regular yellow cake mix.  She said I could also do almond in the icing.  Would an almond flavored icing work better with the vanilla cake or add almond to both cake and icing.  I'm worried about the taste.  Please help

Sorry, I was referring to yellow cake mix.  It usually has a vanilla flavor but, she would like almond flavoring added.
