AHi

I am a hobby cake decorator in Scotland and have been making birthday cakes for my family and work colleagues for the past year. The baking of the cake causes me more stress than the decorating so I have been using the 3.5 kilo bag of McDougalls Delux sponge mix. It works out every time has a great taste and the cake seems to stay soft and moist for a couple of weeks.

My problem is that they have just discontinued it, I have hardly any left and I have 4 cakes to make within the next 3 weeks......help.

Can anyone recommend a good trusty cake mix as I really am not a baker. Here are a couple of my cakes

Thank you in advance

Ask your supplier - when companies discontinue a product it is normally because they have a substitute product that is performing equally as good or better.
