what's the best way to get the flavour of hazelnuts in a cupcake batter? I've heard about ground hazelnuts but I don't have a food processor.... any tips? maybe using nutella or something?

most recipes I read just focus on the nutty flavor in the buttercream.

thank you

Does it happen to be chocolate hazelnut? My first thought was Nutella spread.

I'm a newbie and have no recipes, but perhaps there's a peanut butter cupcake recipe you could adapt? Just figured the hazelnuts are already ground up for you. I love Nutella and was thinking about trying piping it or using it as a filling in a chocolate cupcake. And now I'm hungry.

Yes I've also used Nutella and I also make a hazelnut whipped icing with Nutella too.

cool, thanks. if I use my usual chocolate cake recipe would I have to adjust anything for the addition of nutella?
