Frosting decoration practice ....

Hi everyone,

I need some piping practice, and I came up with the great idea of doing that on wax paper so my frosting can be reused. However, there's a problem, I don't know where to start! What kind of decoration should I start with? Do you guys have any suggestion for me? I want to start from bottom up. I'm pretty fresh at Frosting decoration.

Thanks.

I found lots of templates on the internet, printed them out and laminated them and use them to practice on. Wipe clean and can be used again.

If you have a local decorating store, buy the Wilton books used in the classes.

Yes...it's a great start.   You can't google a technique that you don't know.    After you find the technique in the book...."then" google it to get the visual.   Have fun!
