AI have been asked to make cupcakes for my church Halloween Party for the "tweens." Being who I am and my enjoyment of designing the set-ups, I've suggested a dessert table. The woman in charge loves the idea and told me to run with it, great except I'm finding.so.many great ideas for the treats that I can't decide what to make. I'm for sure doing cupcakes, chocolate dipped.pretzels, and cookies.
What other suggestions does.anyone have? I will be asking for donations of ingredients and I'd like to make a list asap.
A-Cake balls made to look like eyeballs -Small candy/caramel apples-use the really small apples -You can make the pretzel sticks to look like witches fingers -A brain jello mold -Brain ice cubes
ACrunchy Meringue Bones
Graveyard-in-a-Cup. In a shot glass (you can get a 24 pack at the dollar store) put chocolate pudding, top with Oreo crumbs, stick in a cookie RIP tombstone.
Purple or Orange Kettle Corn You can also cover the popcorn with melted colored chocolate Or do a popcorn party mix, like this: http://www.aspicyperspective.com/2012/10/halloween-party-popcorn-mix.html
Squishy Eyeballs http://www.chicaandjo.com/2008/10/02/eerie-eyeball-snacks-for-halloween/
Bowls of candy corn, mallow pumpkins, etc.
AWitch or monster finger cookies. Popcorn balls seem to be very popular in my group of monsters. Make them smaller than normal, maybe. Candy corn cookies are easy to make - just colored sugar cookie dough, layered & cut to look like candy corn. Classic truffles look like dirt balls Some kind of filled chocolate, & the filling is gooey & red. Candies like that can be made way in advance. Halloween is my favorite time! I'm already starting decorations and my treat line-up for the next month.
