AIt sounds to me that you may need to redo your contract. I have a very specific contract and it states that I am only able to refund the profit of the cake!!! (If needed havent had to yet) The cost endured on behalf of the product is not refundable as it is already here n gone And as stated the cake was displayed, photographed, and ate. If UN displayable OR EATABLE that's different. I also have a huge rule against not getting a very specific detail of what is expected from a client and if told to do as I feel I give the client a few examples of what I am thinking and have them choose one this is vital with brides as they tend to change their mind quickly and often. I also hold a meeting 30 days before and after that no change can be made!!! As far as the shirt goes it was a huge mistake and sounds like you have learned your lesson in the future keep clothes with you so your help can change before entering if needed. I'm not trying to upset you however if I was to have seen that on any vendor at my wedding or at any of several I have coordinated I would have been extremely offended by it. And even though it has nothing to do with the cake it says volumes about professionalism and respect. I'm glad you sent/ offered the refund because a bad word of mouth review can be damaging to your business. But in the end this is a list of lessons learned and I wish you all the luck in the future.

Just wanted to update you all, I have STILL not received any pictures. The bride is now trying to hinder that. So....I really don't even know how to proceed and I don't know for sure its worth it to get a photo at this point. I'd much rather forget her. 

You had that in your contract. The photographer has to release them. Otherwise file a suit in small claims...

Yes, but do you think its worth the hassle? It was such a pretty cake though...*sigh* I cannot keep letting this get me down almost a month later!

AIt's not up to the bride to release them. The photos are owned by the photographer and your contract with the bride says you are entitled to them. You don't need the brides permission - you already got it in your signed contract.

True, she signed my release. But she's friends with her photographer apparently. So I'm going to speak with the photographer again. But she keeps saying "they're not ready yet".

If the photographer was not party to the agreement between OP and the bride, OP may have no choice but to work through the bride if the photographer is unwilling to release the photos.

AWell that's something, but if the bride tells the photographer not to release the pictures the photographer will probably honor the bride's wishes, and you can't do much to compel the photographer to release them without going after the bride.
