can I use coconut oil insted of crisco?

to work with my fondant?

I would think no...coconut oil melts on contact when you touch it.  Do you mean for making fondant or for rolling it out?

I would like to know this also.  One of the cakes I am making is coconut and to have added coconut flavor would be just an added plus.
