Does anyone know where I can buy a diamond quilting tool from in the UK for embossing fondant? 

Been searching online but can only find them in America and the delivery charges are huge!

APatchwork Cutters manufactures them! They have a couple of different sizes.

Hi Miss Pink, I have the Patchwork Cutter one, but to be honest, I find it fiddly enought to work with on round cakes, it's fine for squares.  For a round cake, I prefer to use "a set square" (refer them from geometry sets in school?) to mark the lines in the icing. I find this the easiest.

PS remember to do your quilting while the icing is still super soft!

I have one like the one you're looking to buy...

...  I still always use the Patchwork Cutters one.  With practice, it's very easy to line up and 'rock' it around a round cake.  However I find it very fiddly to line up the other type for every single impression.
