I'm making a cake for a bridal shower on Saturday.  I'm icing it in Italian Buttercream.  I've been making gumpaste flowers all week and my brain is fried!!!!  I accidently added Tylose Powder instead of Cream of Tartar to my buttercream!  I added the cream of tartar as soon as I realized my mistake.  Anyone know if this will make a difference? Help please!!!

I have no idea but would be curious as to how your butter cream came out.

Never heard of this one...please let us know how it turned out!  Maybe a tsp or so would not make a big difference in a buttercream.  Add more flavoring for moisture IF it did...good luck!!

Thanks for you support. It was only a 1/2 tsp, so I don't think it will make a difference.  I'll let you know how it turns out.  Lol
