ASo I have this cake to make in a week and I've never done a bow with animal print on it, do I roll the fondant with black in it or do I draw it on the bow after its made...any ideas will be greatly appreciated! I would roll out white fondant the length and width to get the amount needed for the bow and the tails. Roll the fondant a bit thicker than you want the finished thickness to be. Roll out black fondant pretty thin. Cut out cow print odd shapes and apply with a light coating of gum glue to the white fondant. Carefully re-roll the now cow printed white fondant to the desired thinness. Cut out bow as usual.

AI would do cutouts in the white fondant/gumpaste and fill it with black and roll it flat so that the pattern is imprinted in the bow itself.

Do a large piece this way and then cut your bow pieces out of it.

ADefinitely what hearts suggested, cut thin and rolled out flat enough, the black will flatten right out evenly into the white.
