Contact Paper

I was wondering if this contact paper I found on Walmart.com can be used for covering cake boards? http://www.walmart.com/ip/Con-Tact-Grip-Prints-Drawer-Shelf-Liner-18-x-8-Roll-Virtu-Black-and-White-4pk/20895762?action=product_interest&action_type=title&placement_id=irs_middle&strategy=PWVUB&visitor_id=49618404145&category=0%3A1072864%3A1044066&client_guid=d98d5ea8-b083-408b-a485-1ba4f85c58cc&config_id=0&parent_item_id=20895775&guid=08bc129d-e5c7-4755-b623-f9dcf8d0f3c0&bucket_id=000&findingMethod=p13n Thank you!!

I don't see why not. As long as you have a cardboard cake circle under the cake, then lay it on the contact paper covered cake board. That way if there is anything that is not food safe in the contact paper, it won't come in contact with the cake.

It should work fine. And there are better places to get contact paper than walmart. try here: http://www.interiorplace.com/categories/Contact-Paper-Self-Adhesive-shelf-liners/

Yes, it'll be fine.  Just be sure that anything that will be eaten doesn't sit on the Contact paper.

I think I put in the wrong link when I posted last time. This is the place I found with great selection and prices of contact paper.
