Hi guys,

I was wondering how you guys usually transfer your cupcakes in large bulk. Im currently using the wilton carrier that only carries 12 at a time and its terrible! Its too shallow and it rolls over just went you put it on the car seat for a second. I also use the plastic boxes from paper mate but it gets expensive and i dont think its good for long term especially when i have to deliver 100 -200cupcakes to one location sometimes What do you guys use? Please share your thoughts and ideas. Thank you so much for your time!

AIf I am setting up, I use boxes I buy from the post office. They are about 3.5" high, and hold roughly 60 cupcakes, sturdy enough to be stacked. Some use large plastic storage containers, the kind you would put under your bed, they can hold a lot more, and obviously last indefinitely. I just like to make sure I can carry them easily by myself, since I do my deliveries solo for the most part. If they are being given to a customer as is, meaning I am not setting up at a wedding or event, they are delivered in bakery boxes with cupcake inserts.

Hi Scrum,

when you deliver them in a cardboard box, do you put the cupcakes side by side? do you put anything between them to protect them? Dont they roll over? How does the buttercream stay protected on the cupcake? Also, where do you purchase your catering boxes? Where is the best place to get a good deal in large bulk. Thanks again in advance! =) Your the best!

I just fit them in snugly side by side, then frost them, they don't move. I buy my bakery boxes in packs of 100 at my local restaurant supply.

I believe Jason gave you a good link to buy boxes from online on your other thread.
