Hi All,

Sorry if this is in the wrong section.

I was just wondering what your preferences are on using either the Silicone giant cupcake mould or the tin mould? Which one is easier to use and gives a better result?

Your opinions would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Sarah

AWell, the tin mould usually comes as one piece which can be annoying if one part needs longer to bake than the other, however, the silicone can be frustrating because they can be very difficult to move about once full of batter, but you could always put the moulds on a sheet pan.

AI use regular cake rounds in the size I need, then carve it.

I only have the metal one. I bake each piece separately in it...
