ACan someone please help me. My gumpaste flowers refuse to dry. The humidity is making them soft n sticky. I added cmc powder to the sugar paste and made flowers many times before but somehow this batch just isn't drying. It's been raining and humid for quite a while now. My sugar paste figurine which I made a week ago still hasn't dried and has become very sticky. I've put them into cardboard boxes but does not seem to help much. I do not have access to a dehydrator or tylose or an over where just the light comes on... What do I do?

This probably won`t be much help but i run a dehumidifier as needed.  Its extremely humid where I live and I`m in a constant battle with it.

How and where do you store your gumpaste figures?

Fastest/easiest drying would be in climate control.  If you don't have a buddy with air conditioning that will let you hang out all day, you could try these  http://cakecentral.com/t/746254/how-to-store-gumpaste-flowers-in-humid-weather
