Hi there! I am new to Cake Central, and this is my first ever post, so I hope that I am posting in the right area. :) I am working on a wedding cake for this weekend, and on the cake is going to be a simple cascade of champagne coloured anemones.....the colours for the wedding are champagne, grey and black. Anywho, I am going to start with dusting the anemones tomorrow, and I am struggling with what colours to use to add realism and make them pop. On any other colour, I would dust on a bit of spring green and yellow at the base of the petals and then a super tiny blush of pink, but I am not sure if this combo will look alright against the champagne colour.....specifically the green and yellow. I do plan on giving the whole flower a light dusting of luster at the end, but I don't think luster alone will be enough to make the flowers pop. Could anyone share with me some advice which colours to proceed with?
Thank you so very much!
