Im looking at buying a set of stainless crimpers, have never used them and was wondering how often they are used , and how useful they really are.

i realise it depends on the style of cakes you make but are they the type of tool that once you have you wouldn't be without.

I am trying to get  a good base of tools, including a cel mat and stick, Im guessing they are a must for flowers and leaves

Thanks

Thanks for that,

I had no idea, I don't think I would have a lot of use for them at this stage.

What about the cel board and cel stick ?

So far I have only made roses, but I do hope  to learn a basic flower garden of choices as I buy different cutters.

I have had crimpers for about 30 years and have probably only used them a couple of times.

Cel mat and cel stick I use all the time.  You need them, or something equivalent, to make good flowers.  I only recently got a cel mat to replace my old flower mat and it is far superior.

Thanks for that.

Passed up the crimper set and got the big cel mat instead.

Really appreciate your help.
