How Do I Get A Black Icing Without Making All Tongues Go Black/purplish?

Hi, i made a spiderman cake with black buildings on the back, it turned out good but i have to use some colorng to get a real black tone.

 

The thing i don't like is that when you tasted or get in the hands, you got black tongued or painted, like the joke lollipops.

AFondant or icing? If you start with chocolate you don't have to add as much coloring. I wear gloves when mixing colors.

i made it with heavy cream whipped.

AYeah, yuck. I only make items that need to be colored darkly with fondant.

Sorry, but the color in the mouth can't be avoided.  Dark colors=dark tongues.

use fondant or start with a dark chocolate buttercream and darken from there.
