The client wants 4 different colors and wants the middle in fondant with letters saying happy birthday anais, she also wants a lady bug, dragon fly and butterfly on top of cake of fondant.

I just want your opinion on how much you will charge? I already calculated my cost and time

I just want to know what others think.

Thanks in advance for your time and answers! :)

ACute, is the cake a single layer with no filling? Are the bugs going to be made from fondant or gumpaste or purchased?

The above, plus how many people is she hoping to serve with this cake.  In other words, you can get away with a single layer if under 10 guests but if she's invited 25 then you may need to make this layer twice and stack it with filling in-between.

AThe search feature is a great tool for figuring out how to do something, like pricing. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

You wrote "Need your prices please!" Just curious, why do you need other members' prices? Are you afraid you severely under or overcharged? If you need more confidence in pricing, it may help if you use the search function and read about pricing basics.

It's impossible for any of us to give you a price that we can all agree on.  In New Hampshire, (for instance) - decorators on the coast - in Portsmouth can command much higher prices than those of us in other areas of the same State.  They're near the ocean.............So, we don't know where you are and what the prices are for your area.  The best thing to do is to check prices in your area.

The price I came up with was $65 including everything even delivery to the birthday home but most times I have a new customer try to order from me they say my price is to high. I will politely send them to walmart lol but I have under charge a lot before too that's why I'm curious to hear from others. Thanks! :)

AIs that from a shaped cake pan, or will you have to carve it?

Okay...this cake I traded for metalsmith services including materials, What would you have charged. It's already done...Just wondering what others would have charged? I think I got the better end of the deal in this trade...
