Hi,

If I add whole, frozen, blueberries to a lemon cake mix (WASC mix/recipe), do I need to increase the cook time?

Thank you!

PS we are baking FOUR 12" round cakes (to make 2, two-layer 12" round cakes). Not sure if you needed that info.

I used fresh blueberries so I did not. Adding frozen blueberries is nota good idea. The batter will cook unevenly and they will add extra moisture to the cake. I would thaw, drain and then dry them first.

I just baked cakepro's amazing lemon cake (recipe on site) delicious!! i added fresh blueberries(as she told me to) and still baked on 325 f. This recipe is a cake mix extender and more delicious than any i tried to bake from scratch. (don,t know what i did wrong with the scratch ones. lol!!!!  I did sprinkle some of the cake mix over the b/b and shook thru a seive.
