edible image with cannon printer

Thread Starter

Can anyone offer advice for printing edible images with a Cannon printer. I have the pixma mg 5320 with new edible ink cartridges. Sometimes it prints. Most often it says the cartridges are empty when they are not. Soooo undependable. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

What brand of ink are you using?

The ink cartridges are from Ink Edibles. Have you used this brand before?

Sorry, no I haven't. Unless they changed their logo. I've used 3 different types and am happiest with Icing Images. Could your print heads be clogged?

hi I have a cannon edible printer had it for over a year now when I first got it I read to make sure that you turn the printer on every day to keep the ink rollers clean and keep the ink fresh it has worked for me not had any issues yet and I am not a heavy user of the printer also do a roller clean and roller feed clean every now and then hope this helps
