Hi ! 

 

How can i do a submarine cake ?????  I was wondering if i can use this pan 

Wilton Long Loaf Pan-16"x4"x4-1/2 

but i'm not sure ???? please help

Sure - that looks like it would work perfect! Or save some money and use 2 regular loaf pans  (if you have them) and stick them together and carve. They'll be covered, so no one will know. Then just carve the cake  into sub shape and cover with fondant. I like to carve semi- frozen, as I feel like I have more control. Use a steak knife (not too sharp) and carve off little bits at at a time. Use sturdy cake (WASC or Hershey's chocolate - in recipes) . Good luck!
