Hi Vicky,

Here, I share a United Kingdom Ingredients according to you of Egg less Banana Recipe.

Ingredients

Serves : 8

  • 3 very ripe bananas
  • 110g (4 oz) sugar
  • 50g (2 oz) melted margarine or butter
  • 170g (6 oz) self raising flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 110g (4 oz) plain chocolate chips

Icing

  • 110g (4 oz) icing sugar
  • 40g (1 1/2 oz) buttery spread
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder

Directions

Prep:10min  ›  Cook:25min  ›  Ready in:35min

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 C / Gas 4.
  2. Mash the sugar and bananas together in a large bowl.
  3. Add the melted margarine and stir in. Add the flour and baking powder and mix well. Then stir in chocolate chips. Place mixture in a greased or lined loaf tin, cake tin or muffin tin.
  4. Bake in preheated oven for about 20 to 30 minutes, depending on which tin you are using. Muffins cook a little quicker. Check by sticking a clean knife or skewer into the cake and it should come out clean when done.
  5. For the icing mix together icing sugar, buttery spread and cocoa powder in a food processor or with a wooden spoon. Spread over cooled cake.

Tip:

Previously frozen bananas work well for this recipe, so if you have any bananas which go too ripe and are not going to be eaten, freeze them to keep for this recipe.
