So I can get the premade stuff in pounds.  I'm wondering if 6 lbs will be enough.  I'm using it to crumb coat and then decorate with ruffles and swirly roses.  The 6" will be the roses.  The 8" will be plain frosted and the 10" will be ruffles.

Do you think this will be enough?

Thanks veteran bakers!

Kristie,

I ordered a magazine the other day, it came with a binder, on the inside it has a 'to cover a cake' guide.

I hope I've read right what you asked, but it says , 15cm/6" = 350g, 20cm/8" = 650g & 25cm/10" = 1kg.

So 6lb should be enough.
