Hi everyone,  I am making a wedding cake, Tiffany style with white ribbon and bow.  I have made the bows and sprayed them with PME pearl lustre dust, but now they look cream!  Did I spray too much on?  I used it after reading many thread on here saying that was the best thing to use, but I need the ribbon to still look white.  Any ideas? need urgent answers.  Thanks

Are your bows made of hardened gumpaste? If so, you could wipe off the spray with a soft cloth and vodka. Do this gently. They will become sticky so they will need to dry. Then re spray with a very light coat of luster dust.

so you think Pearl lustre spray is the right thing to use?  I just looked online and see they do a clear one, maybe I should get that?

To be honest, I have not used that type of spray before so I don't know if the color is truly white. I use an airbrush and spray Pearl Sheen from Americolor. This is a white with a pearly sheen. It does not turn cream color.

Here is one I made with gumpaste, then airbrushed with Americolor Pearl Sheen
