Which colour?

I've got a cake to make using the 3 colours in the picture. Pink and purple are a must for the decs but do I cover the cake with the jade green or white fondant? I'm happy that the 3 colours go together, just don't know if covering in jade will be too much. Opinions please

Is there any theme other than the colors? What is the occasion?

I think it will be too much. If you don't want plain white, you could go with a very light shade of any of them as a background.

The cake would be beautiful colored jade and incorporate the pink and purple.

The jade background give so much more sophistication to the pink and purple combo. A white background with the pink and purple will be far more common and less rich in feel.

White always makes bright colours look busier, I would go with a very light soft jade.

Its a birthday cake. I'll stick with my original idea then. Wasn't sure if it would be too much! See this is what I like about this forum. Always guided in the right direction., Thanks icon_smile.gif
