a friend wants me to make this cake for a wedding. I usually don't make fondant cakes. I wanted to get an opinion on how many hours of work would it take to make this cake. It needs to serve about 75 ppl. and a ball park figure on how much to charge (in nyc). Also serving size, ie how many rounds would it take to build it. Im looking at earlenes. so this may have to be a three tier cake?

AFor 75 I would do a 12 and 10. The football is molded out of chocolate.. I just did a similar cake, although smaller. I charged $5 a slice. I am in NJ..[IMG]http://cakecentral.com/content/type/61/id/3058855/width/200/height/400[/IMG].

Nice! I also heard that the football can be made out of rice cripie and covered in fondant. Its hard to tell in that picture.
