Cake Sides Crumbled - Pic Attached- Plz Hlp

AHi ,

I baked a pound cake recently .It came out all well except for the sides which crumbled away ! I baked it for the right time using bake even strips .Once baked and out of the oven ,i cooled it for about 10 mins before removing the cake out of the oven.

I Followed the recipe to the T and used the right amount of ingrediants. This is the 2nd time itz happening to me.

Please advice.

It looks slightly under baked to me by looking at the top and some of the side. Did you spray your pan with a baker's spray? If not, try that, it could help next time.  The bake even strips won't make the side crumble like that.  Also, just because the recipe says X time doesn't mean it's correct.  All ovens are different, so baking time varies.
