Anyone have any issues with cake batter in a bread/loaf pan at all?

AMy baker didnt have any issues. I used them when I was making a baby block cake to get the thicker layers and it was just fine. I would recommend the baking strips on the sides and just keep an eye on it a bit more.

I just used my bread pan last weekend to make a bathtub cake for my sister....made one batch and divided it between two pans.  I did lower the oven temp and baked it at least 35-40 minutes.  It turned out great...

The b-day girl had gotten sick at a bachlorette party when she was in her 20s (too much alcohol) and so our mom ended up giving her a bath to clean her up..it has been the joke for 30 years.  This cake seemed perfect for the 50th b-day!!

Great, Sis, thank you! I'll be using it for a bed so it sounds like it will work well.
