Pinecones on cake

Help! I have a wedding cake in January that the bride wants to put pine cones on. I am wondering if anyone has made or knows how to make pine cones from fondant. I am not in favor of real ones on the cake no matter what precautions are taken.  Thanks.

I purchased a mold from Etsy.

https://www.etsy.com/listing/87687437/food-safe-silicone-pinecone-mold-for?ref=sr_gallery_26&ga_search_query=pine+cone+mold&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_ship_to=US&ga_search_type=all&ga_facet=pine+cone+mold

I used it for my winter camo cake and the pine cones looked great!

Thanks so much. I will check that out and see if the bride likes this idea. They really look like real pine cones! Thanks again !
