Help With Fondant Ruffle

AHELP! I am having a really hard time doing a fondant ruffle. It rips or sticks to the board. Whats the secret?? :x thanks in advance!

What style? There are several variations. Some need to start out thick, some thin, some you use a frill stick with, some a ball tool...can you post an example? And a picture of yours so we can see exactly what you're doing? Just real quick though, dust your board with corn starch of it's a light colored fondant, or grease it a bit if it's darker colored.

Do you have enough ps or cornstarch on your board? If it's your ball tool that's ripping it, dip it in a little cornstarch periodically to keep it from sticking.

AYes lots of Ps. I tried thin and thick. Still looks awful.

AI cant find a picture but just a delicate ruffle on the bottom of a cake. Done with 2 layers.
