I made a fondant/gumpaste shoe.  I have done this before with no problems.  But, this particular shoe keeps sagging, cracking and ripping.  I have been trying to save it and repair it with royal icing.  The shoe had plenty of drying time but, seems to keep getting soft on me.  Any suggestions?  This shoe needs to be on top of a cake in 3 days and I am fearful that it is no going to hold up. Picture is attached.

Is it hot or humid there? I am assuming by the title that you added gumpaste to the fondant. Maybe try putting it in the oven with the light on to harden it?
