How do I store candy melt shells ?

Hi,

I'm trying to get ahead of the game as I am making 150 mini cupcake flowers each in a candy melt shell for a party at the beginning of August. These will have a cake pop stick through the base to create a flower on a stem look (hopefully !)

Just wondering if I can make the candy melt shells ahead of time and if so, do I store them in a tupperware container/tin/fridge .... Help please !

Wasn't thinking of inserting/sticking the stems in yet but just getting the shells done ...

Thanks

Moira

They can be stored at room temperature in an airtight container.

If you are getting heat /humidity in your area you might want to freeze the cups after you make them.  I have had chocolate shapes warp because it was so warm..  Warning let them sit out for a bit to avoid condensation before you fill.  I tried storing in fridge but didn't work as well.   I know you might not have room but was just a suggestion.  Making cups ahead will really speed up work/less stress

Of course chocolate is the answer!
