Hey everyone,

I was wondering if you know of a type of inventory app where you can keep track of your baking supplies, tips, etc?!?  I've been looking for one and found general inventory apps and was curious if anyone has found one they love?

Thanks!

Is it iphone or android? I have one called My Stuff 2 for iphone that I LOVE LOVE LOVE! I keep my old iphone around to use it, even though I switched to android. (Not available for android) We have several categories in there, that you can edit. We have our movies, Monster High Dolls, chocolate molds, figure cake pans, and Star Wars Playskool Heros all cataloged in there. I plan on doing my dusts, and tips, and cutters, as well.

It is wonderful for that! We have 800 movies scanned into the app, and a stack of "doubles" lol.

Since it alphabetizes them, and you can add what format they are, and divide them into groups, we arranged ours alphabetically. We have them formatted as DVD, VCR, and then custom settings Big Box VCR, CD case, and no case, since we couldn't arrange them with all the different size boxes sticking out all over the place!

Twice, my husband bought the same Monster high doll as I did, and now we know what we have.

I have a SLEW of double cake items, and I swear, the Wilton star cookie cutter came in about 7 different sets of cutters, so I have 7 of them icon_redface.gif And I have 2 violet luster dusts, two avocado, and 2 purple, lol. And 2 sets of dogwood cutters, and 3 of those little wire cake levelers, and 2 Wilton Barney pans, 2 Scooby -Do pans, and 2 fire engine pans, 2 Holly Hobby, 2 Ziggy, 2 .... but I collect them, rather than use them, lol, so I tend to buy them by the bagful, and have over 230 of them icon_redface.gif

Thanks for your response!  It's for an iphone.  I looked it up, the app looks pretty neat.  I couldn't tell what the difference between the Home and Inventory Database $4.00 and the Pro Home and Inventory Database $8.99.  Which one do you use?  Do you know the difference?

AAn Excel spreadsheet worked just fine for us. If you want access to the spreadsheet on the go you could store it in the cloud.

I am not sure, I have had it for a while, but it just says MyStuff2. I love it because you can scan your movie's barcode and it loads the info, like rating, length, and the picture on the front, and often other images as well. I don't have barcodes for 99% of my stuff, but it was a miracle for the movies.

Hmm. Sounds boring! It is fun to scan barcodes and watch the info pop up! Plus, I can go to Safari, and save a picture of what I am inventorying, or open the camera and take a picture of it. It is really convenient and a lot of fun.

I did some more research and found and AWESOME one...it has unlimited storage, you can include pictures for each item, you can back it up to the cloud and/or dropbox, it will export it into an excel file....AND its FREE!!  The only thing I wish it had was a barcode scanner.  Its called My Things.  I started a new location called Bakeware, then set sub "locations" as my items, piping bags, Color Mists, Couplers, Luster Dust, Pearls, Dyes, etc....so far I LOVE IT!!  Anyone else out there who is looking for an app like this one...I recommend trying it!
