I'm trying to come up with a company name for my cupcake/cake decorating business I'm trying to get up &running. Here are a few Ideas I've come up with so far, Gina's Sweet Tooth, Gina's cakes and Cupcakes, Gina's sweets cravings. Any ideas or suggestions are much appreciated.

AWhat about G's Sweet Tooth? Sweet G'sus (sorry just kidding about that). How would you explain your personality? I think the name should be a reflection of you.

Just make sure you check the state licensing, LLC issuing agency and trademarking website. I named my business Batter Up Cake Co. I found out later that there was a Batter Up Bakery very near to me. My name was distinguishable enough to get my LLC, business License and the name is still open for trademarking. But had I known there was a business so similar and so close before I had paid out for the licensing and LLC fees I would have probably tried something different.

Remember that you will come up further in the phone book if you start with a or b as the first letter of your name, I used Create A Cake and found out when I registered it there are hundreds of them and that was 30 years ago so we used our last NAME'S Create A Cake. But that put us way down on phone listings. One gal here in Mo. named her shop All about Cakes. Very wise, of course she had worked for all of us so knew what she was doing.

Gina's Sweets is succinct and descriptive. I love the bakery pun names, but I'm terrible at coming up with them.

I Dream of Gina's

I know it's a pun on an old TV show and is most likely to endear you with customers collecting social security, but the name stands alone from the pun as well.

That would be a great name for a mattress store. A bakery, not so much.
