Not sure how close you are to this woman, but that navy & turquoise is throwing me off.  If she doesn't want to budge on the color tableclothes I would do the turquouise ribbon on cupcake stand. Then navy/white liners (maybe with more white in it than navy) .  This is way I stand in the store for so long trying to get the colors together and to see if they work well together....  wish you well on the task. I am sure it will come together well. icon_smile.gif

ADo you have to use all of the colors? Maybe just use white and Navy or white and turquoise.

Can you just use silver or gold? I know these aren't her colors, but they would both look nice with the colors she has picked and then you don't have to worry about matching the navy or turquoise...which is quit the color scheme!

Maybe I"ll use gold ribbon  since I'm doing seashells (cream and beige colored ) and cupcakes are beige iced..OR would silver look better? I don't know ! I can't figure out how to incorporate all of this..

Hi..  Keep in mind that cupcake liner colors will not look baked as they do in the stack.  I use egg whites and no yellows, and that helps to ease some of the color distortion that the cake batter will have on the liner colors.  If you use the egg yellows, your batter is going to be slightly yellow, so when baked your cupcake liner will take on the yellow.  Hope this makes sense to you.  Good luck!

If you use the metallic gold or silver liners than the cake color won't show through them.  I think either color would work great, but if you doing beige you might want gold.

I have seen metallic liners in navy and turquoise both! The metallic is nice because they are almost like a double cupcake liner, that's why they don't show the color of the cake through them.  Good luck!

If they are ocd as me, I wouldn't do it in the colors of the wedding unless you can find the right shade. You could do the wrappers in beige and ivory to go with the seashell theme. I actually like navy and turquoise together.

Does white/beige  cupcake liners sound ok, with beige icing and seashells, then maybe alternate navy and turquoise ribbon on round tiers? She definetly wants the colors incorporated into cupcake stand. Thanks!

AI would go with the white or beige liners with the ribbon of both colors on the stand. I would keep both colors of the blue and turquoise incorporated because that's what she chose. Hope this helps.

If you decide to do a metallic color (gold or silver) I would find out what color rings the bride and groom have. If they have silver rings, I would go with silver liners etc.
