Hi all,

I have been asked to make 50 cupcakes with a spa and salon theme

I have made some nail polish toppers, blowdryers  a head wrapped with a towel and cucumbers over the eyes , the nail polish and low dryers I can figure out but the head , I need help with figuring out how to use it on the cupcakes  should I attach with a toothpick in the middle and just decorate around it or just lay it down  and cover with fondant blanket . any others ideas for this theme are also welcome , cupcakes are due for saturday . I can't seem to figure out the hairbrush and

scissors yet  don't mind the look of the cup cakes these were my practice run  as I have never done anything like this before so was not neat about it .just  to show you what I mean

patiently awaiting your valuable opinions

The first head in your set scares me. She looks like she's ready to "head off" to surgery. Last picture is much better :)

I think that everyone except the first head is great! I agree with debidehm...kinda looks like an older lady who is on her last...ahem...leg?

Love the hairdryers!  The last lady head looks great...I think it would look best to lay them down on the cupcakes rather than standing them up.  Good job!thumbs_up.gif

I think it's the mouth that is scaring me - if you don't have the line perfect without any smudges, it looks like her mouth is bleeding icon_surprised.gif What if you tried a color other than red? I know that's a lip color, but maybe pink or even light brown? Or don't do any color - just use the fat end of a round metal tip and dig one side of it lightly into your fondant to make a little rounded smile. I agree with laying them down as well!  They'll look cute all together!
