Hello there!
I'm making this beautiful sugar cages for a wedding, but I have no idea how much can I charge for each one, I'm making a total of 460, and will use isomalt instead of regular sugar.
I have a link to a pic that might illustrate what I have to do
THANK YOU :D
How much more expensive is your isomalt than regular sugar, and how many can you make from start to finish in an hour?

Isomalt is like 4 times more expensive, and I might be making between 20 and 30 pieces an hour
I would figure a high hourly wage, because it is a skilled task. Figure out the amount of isomalt needed to make 20 cages. (call it $X.XX). Add a high wage ($XX.XX). Add in for overhead plus profit margin ($X.XX). Take all three and divide by 20. That is your base price for each cage. Add in for packaging, which may be a challenge because they are so delicate, and figure out what you think your breakage will be, and make and charge for that many more cages (10% breakage? 20% breakage? I'm not sure ).
Good luck and have fun!
Liz
