I'm making a foot cake! icon_biggrin.gif how could i make it look as realistic as possible? I'm pretty sure I can do something using fondant but any ideas on what other mediums I can use? (chocolate, candy, etc.)  Also what kind of texture can I use to make the foot realistic.  TIA! :) :)

I had to do a woman's  hand coming out of the water, choking an alligator...I know...long story...anyway...I thought I would want to use modeling chocolate for this because the fondant would start to dry out on me..but I actually needed the fondant to dry out to give me some natural skin texture/wrinkles.    Since my hand was a woman's, I used the press on nails...and it worked wonderful for my use.  May not work for you use.   Not sure if your foot is cake or not...if not, I'd sculpt it out of RKT then cover in fondant.
