I was wondering if anyone has experience mailing sugar cookies with royal icing flowers. I've mailed sugar cookies with royal icing before, but not with added RI roses and leaves. Just wondering if that's an added complication in the mailing process since it's a 3D addition and slightly fragile.

I've mailed sugar cookies with royal icing before: from Switzerland to Kentucky :-) Made some with my daughter, then mailed them to her Godmother in the US. I thought that they would arrive in a thousand broken pieces (but hey, it's the thought that counts, right?), but surprisingly, I was told that only one gingerbread man-shaped cookie, broke, and the rest were all intact! Couldn't believe it....

I'm currently experimenting with shipping fondant-covered cakes, which seems to be more difficult...
