Freezing banana bars??

I have frozen brownies before but wondering if I can freeze banana bars already frosting with cream cheese frosting??  I would like to cut them and have them already frosted so I just have to take them out of freezer.  I have over 40 bananas that I got for .99 so I would like to use them but don't have much luck with banana bread the outside always gets over done and inside is soft.  Any suggestions on how to bake banana bread??

Just give it a try, and see what happens.  After you taste them you will know if it was a success.

I say go for it also.  And if your bread is overdone on the outside and underdone on the inside, try turning the oven down 25 degrees.  Have you checked the oven temp with a separate thermometer?

Thanks!!  I will try to cook at a lower temp.  I don't have any problem with cupcakes.  I don't care for the end pieces (cut the edge of brownies and bars off) so maybe I am just being pickie...again thanks!

With all those bananas you can just pop them in the freezer as is, they are great for banana cakes and smoothies. Don't defrost them, just use a really sharp knife to peel them when you take them out, lightly defrost and mash for cake, or pop whole chunks in your smoothie and blend. Yum

Does  the banana itself brown when you freeze them??

Only very slightly, certainly not noticeably so.

Shoot, I should have thought to suggest freezing the bananas whole.  My mom always has some bananas in the freezer.
