I guess this is a silly question, but since you ladies are so resourceful, I was wondering if there was a way to make a complete pillow cake without buying two sets of the Wilton pans. they only bring one size of each :(

and I've searched everywhere for single pans but can't find any.

Other than carving, you are going to have to either bake one at a time or buy a second set

Carving sounds kinda like something I could try. And you've given me an idea though!

I buy one set and make one in a pillow pan along with another one in a larger square pan, and this way I could use the one as a template for carving the square!

Thank you bct806! I may get the one set now to start with and see if I can make it work that way.

It's just that gas is so expensive here and I hate the thought of under utilizing the oven that way...:)
