I need to attaché numerous sugar pearls to a fondant cake creating a band around the whole cake. I normally use royal icing but that is when I am putting pearls on a quilting pattern. any suggestions. I should mention I then have a two hour drive for delivery.

AOk, just saw your other post. Marina makes the band of pearls on a fondant band then moved it to the cake.

Hi,

When I made a purse cake for my daughter, I put a lot of pearls on it. I simply put a glue on a pearl and impress it in fondant. It take time but it worth.

You can see my purse cake here, under no. 12

My favourite cake is this.

Have a nice day and good luck for your cake.
