This cake was almost the death of me!  From cakes not baking well (the first batch anyway), totally uncooperative fondant, flowers that came in not as imagined, my air conditioning breaking (while we were having a stormy rainy day) on the day I was supposed to be covering the cakes, air bubbles in the top tier, and lace that did not want to cooperate or lay nicely ...OMG!  I was literally in the back of the car on the way to delivery trying to finish some last minute baby's breath cover ups!  All in all I think it came out pretty well, the client was happy with it and I think it might be my best cake yet as far as design.

Just wanted to share.....

Have a great Sunday!

AWow! Thank you so much everyone! I was pretty happy with how it came out especially with the given issues. Luckily the flowers hid a couple of the issues. ;)

The lace is not piped, it is real lace. I would love to be able to pipe it in the future. I searched high and low for the "perfect" lace!
