I think I misunderstood someones instructions. They said they always fondant frozen cakes. However, I frosted the cake before I froze them. Can I fondant over a frozen AND frosted cake? Do I have to thaw it? I'm trying to avoid another cakesaster. Any advise and suggestions welcome.

It would be MUCH better tolet the cake come to room temp.  But if necessary, go ahead and cover it after it has been at room temp for at least 1 hour.  Youdon't say how big the cake is and mostcakes will thaw in that time.  If its' like a 16"er, the inside will still be frozen but will have thawed enough not to be a problem.
